Volunteer Opportunities

Our name says it all ~ the Volunteer Healthcare Clinic was created by volunteers and they continue to be the heart of our organization. It is through the generosity of our volunteers who give their time, talent and expertise, that we have been able to provide high quality health care to some of Austin's most vulnerable residents for over 40 years.

There are many volunteer opportunities available, especially for health care professionals, and we are always looking to expand our volunteer community. There are ongoing opportunities for individuals with the following expertise / training:

New volunteer orientations are generally held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm unless otherwise noted. This is subject to change due to holidays and/or capacity limits so be sure to call first. As always, please confirm your attendance with the Program Director.

Please note that all volunteers are asked to complete a Volunteer Application, which you can download here ( Word Document ). Please return the completed application to the Program Director, Kelly Smith by email at ksmith@volclinic.org or fax to 512-459-3002.
