Volunteer Healthcare Clinic

Welcome!

We help people
Our mission is to help the most vulnerable have access to high quality healthcare and prevention education, so that detection and treatment of illness is accomplished at the earliest time possible.

Our vision is to help create and sustain a healthy community where all people, especially the indigent, have access to quality healthcare and personal well-being.

The Volunteer Healthcare Clinic recently won the Governor's Community Motivator award. This is a state-wide award that is presented through the OneStar Foundation, recognizing an individual or group for outstanding service and volunteerism. The Clinic is being recognized for a "strong ethic of service, a pure compassion for people, and an inspirational nature to motivate those around them to serve." Our Clinic

In 1966, a dedicated group quietly began finding healthcare for people who had no access to medical services. Many of Austin's working poor such as manual laborers must choose between food for their families and medical care. The Volunteer Healthcare Clinic provides high quality healthcare for this uninsured population.
